The minigame takes place between the ocean and the skies filled with clouds. The four players are positioned in the ocean. There is a ship above the water, waiting for the players to retrieve [[treasure chest|Treasure Chest]]s, while in the ocean, there are inhabitants that include a [[Sushi]], a pair of [[Blooper|Bloober]]s, fish, and [[coral]]. The minigame then starts.

Players swim in the ocean, trying to retrieve [[treasure chest]]s from the bottom and take them to the boat at the top before time runs out. If a player is underwater for too long, a counter appears above their head, beginning at five, and if the counter reaches zero, they run out of breath and go to the surface. In ''Super Mario Party Jamboree'', the countdowns are replaced by a meter that gradually decreases, and player characters who are about to run out of breath visibly panic. The players have the opportunity to grab Treasure Chests from the bottom of the ocean and bring them to the top to earn Coins within the time limit of 90 seconds. Treasure Chests vary by size, weight, and where they were placed. Small Treasure Chests contain only a single Coin, medium chests contain three Coins, and large chests contain five Coins. To make the minigame harder, there is a pair of Bloobers that move within the water diagonally and a Sushi that swims horizontally. If a player touches one of the enemies, the player will be stunned for a few seconds; additionally, if the player touches them while holding a Treasure Chest, they will be forced to drop the object back to the ground. Players have a limited time staying underwater. If they stay too long, a counter will appear on top of their heads, starting with the number five. If it counts down to zero, they will drown and float back to the surface. There is no winner or loser.

Treasure Divers is a 4-Player coin-collecting minigame in Mario Party and Super Mario Party Jamboree.

Players swim in the ocean, trying to retrieve treasure chests from the bottom and take them to the boat at the top before time runs out. Treasure chests vary by size, with small ones containing only a single coin, medium chests having three coins, and large chests having five coins. The obstacles are two Bloopers that swim around and a Sushi that moves back and forth, and touching one stuns the player, as well as causes them to drop a chest if they are carrying one. If a player is underwater for too long, a counter appears above their head, beginning at five, and if the counter reaches zero, they run out of breath and go to the surface. In Super Mario Party Jamboree, the countdowns are replaced by a meter that gradually decreases, and player characters who are about to run out of breath visibly panic. Like other coin minigames, there is no winner or loser.

Treasure Divers costs 250 Coins to buy at the Mini-Game House in Mario Party.
