Boss Sumo Bro Blitzers is a boss minigame in Super Mario Party Jamboree. In Party-Planner Trek, the boss is fought after at least 30 Mini Stars are collected on Roll 'em Raceway.

Overview[edit]

The minigame opens with Boss Sumo Bro descending on his cloud. He then roars and stomps, this creating an electrical current at the opposite end of a disassembled circuit to where the players are standing.

Players have 45 seconds to reassemble the circuit by individually rotating its panels to route the current to their platforms and, at the end of the round, damage him with electric beams. How many points players get depends on the order in which they complete the circuit: five points for the fastest, three points for the second-fastest, two points for the second-slowest, and a single point for the slowest. Players who fail to reassemble the circuit in time will lose one point during the first half or three points during the second half. After each round, Boss Sumo Bro will disassemble the circuits with a stomp, and the process must be repeated. The player who accrues the most points will win.

Once the boss is at half health, he will summon four Sumo Bros., who will occasionally strike a random tile to rotate it on their respective player's boards.

Upon defeat, Boss Sumo Bro falls from his clouds, with his minions following him only for them to be blown away by an explosion. The game then cuts to the players standing on the circuits, where they perform their respective winning or losing animations. If three minutes pass in Party-Planner Trek or in Boss Rush, all players will lose.
