Which Door Has More? is a Koopathlon minigame in Super Mario Party Jamboree.

Gameplay[edit]

The area of play takes place in a building with many rooms and doors. On the floor, multiple kinds of species appear, with signs on top of the doorways dependent on what kind of species appears. The objective of the minigame is to gather as many coins as possible under the time limit. To accomplish this, the player must determine which of the species present on the floor is of greater quantity. Selecting the correct door advances the player to a hallway where they are able to collect coins, with members of the species cheering the player on. Selecting an incorrect door does not award coins, as indicated by the dark and empty hallway. Most rooms offer only two types of species; however, during "Red Coin Chances," there are three types of species that are present. Selecting the correct door in this case offers Red Coins, which are worth three times the number of standard coins. In addition, coins occasionally appear scattered throughout the room for the player to collect. During this minigame, item boxes spawn directly in front of the doors of the room in which they are activated, and using a Coin Bag item causes five Red Coins to appear in the same area. When the Star item is used in this minigame, all of the species of the lower quantity are turned into Red Coins and the correct door automatically opens, with the coins inside also being replaced with Red Coins.

Which Door Has More? is divided into three levels of difficulty. The first level takes place with red-colored walls, with more limited coins than later levels. The second level takes place with green-colored walls; several pillars block the view of the player, making it harder to see all the species easily. In addition, Red Coins appear on the floor of some rooms. The third level takes place with green-colored walls, where the light comes only from the pillars, and said light occasionally can turn off.

In the Koopathlon mode, this minigame is played while the player competes against other players, one level at a time. In the Free Play mode, the minigame is played individually, with all three levels played in a row with items limited to the Coin Bag and Double Medal. The objective of the Free Play variant is to simply obtain the most coins in a single game. Between levels of the Free Play mode, the player is given the opportunity to finish the last room of the previous level before starting the next level. The player's high score, if excessing either the current score or the default score of 30 coins, is recorded and can be compared with other top players' scores online in the Party Plaza. Obtaining at least 300 coins in a single game in the Free Play mode unlocks the "Eye for Detail" achievement.
