Wiggles,[1] originally known as Cling Cobras,[2] are enemies in Donkey Kong Country Returns and its Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Switch ports. They only appear in Clingy Swingy. Wiggles have a yellow body and an orange stripe spanning across their back. They have red eyes and a set of sharp teeth that match the yellow color of their body. Cling Cobra's name is derived from king cobra, a type of venomous snake in real life. Wiggles zip across round wooden platforms, which are at last partially covered with cling patches. While they only move in one direction and loop around, they can stay on platforms without a cling patch underneath them. If Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong touch a Wiggle, it stops to bite them and they lose a heart. A Wiggle can be defeated with a stomp, Roll Attack, or by throwing a barrel at them.
