Char-chars are enemies appearing in the game Donkey Kong Country Returns. They are spherical fireballs with a menacing smile. These enemies only appear in the Volcano world of the said game, where they appear as a recurring enemy. Char-chars can either pop out of the lava in the level or can be seen simply bouncing on a platform. The normal Char-chars can easily be defeated with a barrel. If Donkey Kong blows air on them, they will instantly disintegrate as well. The huge Ultra Char-Chars that appear in the Furious Fire level cannot be defeated and must simply be avoided.
Trivia
- Char-chars have some similarities to Podoboos in that they both can pop out of lava, and behave in similar manners.
