Buckbombs are bomb chickens that first appeared in Donkey Kong Country Returns. Buckbombs behaving the same way as Buckbots, but when they get attacked, they'll start to self-destruct. Fortunately, the Kongs can pick up a self-destructing Buckbomb to take out other enemies, such as the durable red Pyrobots. Like the Buckbots, Buckbombs also only appear in the Factory area.

Buckbots and Buckbombs were most likely created by Colonel Pluck, considering that the Buckbots do appear during the boss fight.
