Scott Burns is the person who voices Mario's enemy, Bowser, in the Mario series games made within the last four years. He has become well-known in Nintendo. Scott Burns rarely does actual speaking roles for Bowser, rather performing the character's roars and grunts. Despite his popularity, Burns was replaced by Eric Newsome in Super Paper Mario, Mario Party 8, and Super Smash Bros. Brawl. He was replaced by Kenny James in Super Mario Galaxy and Mario Kart Wii. It is unknown if Burns will continue to provide the voice of Bowser or if Newsome or James will continue to voice him. However, in Mario Super Sluggers, he is voiced by Burns, after almost a year-long break.
