World 2-4 is the fourth and final level of World 2 from Super Mario Bros. Special.

Layout

The level starts off in a corridor with three Podoboos, followed by a long stretch containing five Fire-Bars. Past this is two lifts, one which moves down and the other which moves up. After, there is a Fire-Bar and Piranha Plant. There is also a Invisible Block with a Magic Mushroom or Fire Flower. There is then a long hallway with a Piranha Plant that eventually empties out to Bowser on a bridge. At the end of this bridge is an Ax, which, upon collecting, defeats Bowser. After this, a mushroom retainer will tell Mario that Princess Peach is in another castle.
