This article is about the items in the Bowser Jr.'s Journey side mode from Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey. For other uses, see Drumstick.

Drumsticks are items in the Bowser Jr.'s Journey mode in Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey mode. Drumsticks are used to either give additional EXP to Bowser Jr. or enhance his stats, as Bowser Jr. cannot use beans to do so like other units. There are ten kinds of drumsticks in the game.

Morton offers Bowser Jr. the Charred Spicy Drumstick.

In addition, the Charred Spicy Drumstick appears in the inventory after completing Boo Brigade, though unlike the other Drumsticks, it is a key item and may not be used freely, always being greyed out. Morton offers the drumstick to Bowser Jr., who accepts it and intends to eat it later. He later attempts to eat it in Wimps Unite, but finds it too burnt to eat. In the inventory, it shares an icon with the HP Drumstick, though in cutscenes, it is depicted as a darkened EXP Drumstick.
