Three players dressed like fish have to avoid being caught by the other player, who attempts to reel in the other three with the Magic Hand. If at least one of the team players avoids being caught for 60 seconds, they all win. If the solo player catches all the players in the water, the solo player wins.

The solo player uses the Magic Hand, a glove attached to a fishing rod, to try and catch the three team players, each dressed like fish. If every team player is caught, the solo player wins, but if at least one team player is left at the end, the team wins.


The minigame appears briefly in volume 27 of ''[[Super Mario-kun]]''. [[Mario]] catches [[Princess Peach|Peach]], then [[Luigi]] as well as [[Yoshi]], who is biting Luigi. The team players are in fish costumes, consistent with their portrayal in-game.

Hand, Line and Sinker is a 1-vs-3 minigame in Mario Party 3.

The solo player uses the Magic Hand, a glove attached to a fishing rod, to try and catch the three team players, each dressed like fish. If every team player is caught, the solo player wins, but if at least one team player is left at the end, the team wins.
