“Know what time it is? It's time to GIVE UP. Otherwise you'll be in... a real pinch! Ke he he!”
Kamek, Yoshi's New Island

King Clawdaddy is the boss of World 3 in Yoshi's New Island. He is a normal Clawdaddy that is enlarged by Kamek's hammer.

Description

King Clawdaddy attacks by walking around and rotating his claws when Blue Yoshi is nearby, much like a normal Clawdaddy; the attack can be avoided using the giant Donut Blocks in the room. He also spits out bubbles in Blue Yoshi's direction; the bubbles themselves are harmless, but some of them contain Shy Guys that can damage Blue Yoshi. To damage him, Blue Yoshi must remove the foam on his body by licking it or throwing eggs; once the foam is completely gone, Blue Yoshi can hit King Clawdaddy with an egg or Shy Guys to damage him.

Once hit, King Clawdaddy becomes angry and turns red, charging in Blue Yoshi's direction and spinning his claw before replacing the foam and returning to normal. He charges three times after the second hit, and produces more bubbles and Shy Guys with each hit. Once hit three times, King Clawdaddy is defeated, and World 4 is unlocked.
