Curlups R are stronger versions of Curlups in Mario & Luigi: Brothership. Only one appears in the game, during the side quest Monster Mania: Level 3 on Petit Islet. Curlups R have purple shells and white bellies, differing themselves from their normal counterparts.

Battle

Mario and Luigi must defeat the Curlup R to clear the side quest. The enemy is level 40 and has an extraordinary amount of HP. It fights exactly like a normal Curlup, having the same attacks.

Inflicting the Burn status via the Fiery Attack Battle Plug on the Curlup R makes it lose 10,500 HP per turn.
