Fun Gus[1] is a character in Mario Party. He is a Toad who lives in the Option House of Mushroom Village, sitting on a purple floor chair on top of a chained bench while holding a remote. His name is a pun on "fungus," a group of spore-producing organisms feeding on organic matter which includes mushrooms and toadstools. If the player selects Fun Gus, they are given the option to either delete their saved data or decline.

In Mario Party 2, Professor Fungi serves a similar role.
