Stalled Out is one of Kat & Ana's microgames in WarioWare: Twisted! and returns as one of Mona's microgames in WarioWare Gold.

Gameplay

The player controls a man. The game's purpose is to make him run into an empty stall. If the player does so, the game is won. However, if the man goes to a closed toilet stall or time is up and he has not entered yet, the player loses.

  • 1st level difficulty: There is an empty toilet stall from the start. It never gets occupied.
  • 2nd level difficulty: None of the toilet stalls are open. The player has to wait until someone gets out of one.
  • 3rd level difficulty: There is an empty toilet stall, but another man enters it. The player has to wait until another person gets out again.

WarioWare Gold keeps the setting and gameplay unchanged. However, people leaving the bathroom will now either moonwalk or float off the screen.

Names in other languages

Language Name Meaning Notes
Japanese トイレまち[?]
Toire Machi
Waiting for a Toilet
French (NOE) Plus le temps ![?] No more time!
Italian Mi scappa![?] I have to go!
Spanish (NOA) ¡Me gana![?] Beats me!
Spanish (NOE) ¡Que me lo hago![?] I'm gonna lose it!

Trivia

  • In level 3, it is possible to enter the empty stall before the other man does, but this requires that the player is directly in front of it by the start of the game and presses the A Button button the exact moment the game starts. If done successfully, the other man just runs straight out of the restroom.
  • In the Japanese version, the man's pants are colored red. This was changed in other versions to blue pants. WarioWare Gold has the character wearing red pants in all versions.
