(Not sure whether 'Walking Tree' was an official name, this is all the information there is, none of the other Mario Kart things have its template so this shouldn't, but if you think it should, put it in)

Walking Trees are an obstacle encountered in Mario Kart DS and Mario Kart 7, appearing on the Luigi's Mansion racetrack. If the player collides with one instead of spinning out, they merely get stuck on it, like they had collided with a wall. Unlike most things on the course, Walking Trees didn't appear in the game [[Luigi's Mansion.

Walking Trees[1] are obstacles in the Mario Kart series. They appear on the Luigi's Mansion course, introduced in Mario Kart DS and returning in Mario Kart 7 and Mario Kart Tour, where they shuffle from side to side. Colliding with a Walking Tree while racing stops the player similarly to colliding with a wall, as opposed to spinning out. Walking Trees are more detailed in Mario Kart DS, dark green in Mario Kart 7, and brown in Mario Kart Tour.
