Hoppycat Mario is one of the forms Mario takes under the Wonder Flower's Wonder Effects in Super Mario Bros. Wonder. While in this form, the character is transformed into a Hoppycat, except they start out larger than a regular enemy Hoppycat (boasting four spikes instead of three). Additionally, their jump height is significantly increased (much like the Wonder Hoppin), and they are able to defeat enemies from below. If they take damage, they shrink to the size of a normal Hoppycat; this small form is used for all Hoppycat standees. The form appears in three full levels: The Midway Trial: Hop to It, The Sharp Trial: Launch to Victory, and The Final Trial: Zip Track Dash.
