Super Power-Up Mario is a form Mario assumes in volume 5 of Super Mario-kun by combining various different power-ups, including the Fire Flower, Starman, Super Leaf, and Hammer Suit, resulting in a form that mixes the attributes of their associated forms: Hammer Mario, Super Mario, Fire Mario, Invincible Mario, and Raccoon Mario. The full power of this form is unknown, but Mario is able to easily defeat Koopa 3 using it. The transformation wears off once Mario, unable to control the powered-up flight, crashes on the Star World hill.
In volume 12, Mario and his three clones use a different power-up each (Cape Mario, Raccoon Mario, Frog Mario, and Bunny Mario) to beat the ghost but are then swallowed by the coin mass he later possesses. Inside of it, the clones fuse with Mario, granting him their power-ups to burst out of the ghost, defeating him once and for all. Of the power-ups picked up by the Marios, there were also a Super Mushroom and Fire Flower, but they do not seem to have been used. Once used, the effects of the transformations wear off, but the fusion with the clones remains and they are bid farewell.
