Pirate Guys reappear in Yoshi's Island DS, along with Pirate Guys who stack themselves on top of each other. They are like normal Shy Guys, except they are all white with purple shoes, wear differently colored bandanas and appear in beach-themed stages. They can be found in the level The Goonie Coast Isn't Clear!.

Yoshi's Crafted World
Pirate Guys return in Yoshi's Crafted World, mostly acting like normal Shy Guys like in Yoshi's Island DS. They appear in the levels Pirate Pier and Bombs Away on Pirate Island. In the latter, they are also seen on cardboard galleons on different planes in the background, following Yoshi's own ship. These Pirate Guys attend cannons that shoot projectiles at Yoshi. Yoshi can attack back by sending cannonballs to the Pirate Guys' ships, sinking them along with the Pirate Guys. Some of them also carry Heyho Coin Bags.
