First appearance | Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins (1992) |
Hone Lifts are bony platforms with skulls at the end of them that appear in Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. Nine serve as platforms over lava in Mario's castle, after the room with the Skull Platforms and before Karamenbō. Once jumped on, they rise toward the ceiling spikes, so the player must jump off of them immediately. They essentially act as the opposite of the Flimsy Lift, and stop when Mario is off of them. They appear in sets of three.
