Mummy-Me are enemies in Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker and its Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS ports that appear to resemble mummified Toads and follow Captain Toad or Toadette in certain levels. Mummy-Me have the same behavior as Cosmic Clones from Super Mario Galaxy 2. At first, a single Mummy-Me appears by following them; however, as they proceed onwards to additional levels, more Mummy-Me start spawning. As they spawn, they form a black cloud that follows the player; once it forms, much like a Cosmic Clone shouting "Let's go!", it shouts "Mummify!," similar to how Captain Toad or Toadette shout "Multiply!" when obtaining a Double Cherry. Captain Toad or Toadette can get rid of a Mummy-Me by using a Super Pickax: in most of the regular levels from the Bonus Episode, it will simply give a short break to Captain Toad or Toadette, and another Mummy-Me will respawn a few seconds later. Mummy-Me Maze Forever is an exception, though, as Captain Toad or Toadette can defeat Mummy-Me by using a Super Pickax, and they give three coins upon defeat.
