Dennis Hopper (May 17, 1936 – ) is the actor who portrayed King Koopa in the live-action Super Mario Bros.: The Movie, which was released in 1993. Dennis Hopper has acted in a great number of other films in addition to his role as the Koopa King. His portrayal as Koopa in the film could be described as spiteful, nasty, contemptible, sadistic, ambitious, and evil.
