Template:Kart-infobox The 8-Bit Star is a High-End glider in Mario Kart Tour. It first appeared in the Super Mario Kart Tour and it became the signature glider of Mario (SNES) in the Mario Tour. The glider is a recreation of the Super Star's sprite from Super Mario Bros. with an 8-bit connecting pole, much like the 8-Bit Jumping Mario, 8-Bit Jumping Luigi and 8-Bit Fire Flower. As evidenced by its Spanish and Portuguese names, it also looks similar to the Starchute. Striking other drivers with Lightning grants more points than usual upon using this glider. Starting from the Snow Tour, the 8-Bit Star is available in regular tour pipes, including the All-Clear Pipe.
