Motoi Sakuraba (桜庭 統, born August 5, 1965) is a Japanese musician and video game composer. During his work in Camelot Software Planning, he worked as a composer in all games of the Mario Golf and Mario Tennis series since 1999, when the original Mario Golf and Mario Tennis were released on the Nintendo 64. Other than said series, he also worked as a composer of other Nintendo games such as the Golden Sun series and Kid Icarus: Uprising, and helped arrange songs for Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
His musical style revolves around the baroque style and Japanese progressive rock starting in 1980s.
