The effect is only temporary, and the Rocket Flower wears off soon after. They appear throughout the Wooded Kingdom after Mario defeats Spewart. They also appear in the Seaside Kingdom, Moon Kingdom, Mushroom Kingdom, and in other kingdoms' bonus rooms.
At the end of the game, Mario tries to offer Princess Peach a Rocket Flower over Bowser's Piranha Plant Bouquet.
