The pirates are a villainous group that appears as major antagonists in the Donkey Kong Country television series. In some episodes, the pirates arrive to the island by their ship to try to steal the Crystal Coconut, a discovery of Kaptain Skurvy's great-great-great-grandfather. The captain of the pirates is Kaptain Skurvy, with his shipmates being Kutlass and Green Kroc. Polly Roger was also considered a pet of the pirates in "Booty and the Beast."
