Gold Fire Piranha Plants are enemies in New Super Mario Bros. 2. They are Fire Piranha Plants under the effects of a Gold Ring. They behave in the same way as ordinary Fire Piranha Plants, however, when defeated, grant more coins and release coins from the pipes where they are in. Just a couple of Gold Fire Piranha Plants appear in the entire game, in World 6-2.
