Manta Rings is a 4-Player minigame in Mario Party 4.

Overview[edit]

The scene opens with a perspective of players jumping off of the boat into the water.

Players try to swim through the most rings, each worth a point, that show up as players swim along the route. Two or three gold rings, each worth three points, are sometimes produced by a Manta that swims by. Hitting a Blooper, a Sushi, or an orange eel takes away one, two, or three points, respectively. Players who end with the most points win, but if every player ends with the same score, it is a draw.

The ending shows the players swimming through a goal at the end, with the winner jumping onto Toad's boat to do their victory pose. The losers' voice clips are still intact, even from being underwater. If there is more than one winner, they wave in the water. If a draw occurs, the boat leaves, and the players are left in the water.
