“AAAAK! I can't believe you've made it this far! So you like to suffer, do you? Well, prepare to taste the abyss!”
Kamek, Yoshi's Island DS

Moltz the Very Goonie is a giant Hefty Goonie and a mid-boss in Yoshi's Island DS. His name is derived from "molt," meaning for an animal to shed its skin. He is fought by Yellow Yoshi in The Fort of Moltz the Very Goonie, at the end of World 5.[1] Moltz is first seen after being powered up by Kamek's magic. He attacks by belly-flopping and sending out harmful feathers, though Yellow Yoshi can damage him with a Ground Pound. After being hit, Moltz sends Rocket Guys out at Yellow Yoshi. Moltz is defeated after three hits.
