Cozette
Species Concordian humanoid
First appearance Mario & Luigi: Brothership (2024)
“Let's go, Connie. We Wattanists have a duty to perform. We must protect the Uni-Tree, for the sake of our world.”
Cozette, Mario & Luigi: Brothership

Cozette is Connie's mentor in Mario & Luigi: Brothership. Her name is a variation of the name "Cosette" as well as a phonetic anagram of Zokket's name. She was a Wattanist who looked after the original Uni-Tree before its destruction, during which time she vanished, forcing Connie to supplant her. Prior to the events of the game, Cozette took Connie to several different regions of Concordia to help teach her of her duties.

Cozette resembles a taller version of Connie, with a face that looks like an electrical outlet as with most Concordians, and with Dulles' proportions. She wears a blue long-sleeved dress and a similar hat.

One day, Cozette found the egg containing Reclusa in the Gulchrock Sea Great Lighthouse and fell under his influence, transforming into Zokket as a result. Zokket then broke Concordia apart and sought to awaken Reclusa with Glohm energy. Connie remains unaware of Cozette's transformation and believes they will be reunited someday.

Mario and Luigi defeat Zokket at Fortress Zokket, and Cozette reverts back to her normal self, although Reclusa immediately hatches from the egg, creating the Soli-Tree (a mockery of the Uni-Tree that the fiend uses as a fortress). Mario and Luigi bring Cozette back to Shipshape Island where Connie reunites with her. Cozette is ashamed by what she did as Zokket (which she has full memory of), but reveals that the power of Bonds can break through the barrier around the Soli-Tree. However, after the Bros. get her and Connie's bond, Cozette becomes determined to go after Reclusa to atone for her actions as Zokket, much to Connie's horror.

In the Soli-Tree, Mario, Luigi and Connie find Cozette collapsed, and Connie stays with her while Mario and Luigi defeat Reclusa. She later sends her pupil to help out when Reclusa knocks Mario and Luigi out with a wave of Glohm after transforming into Weeping Reclusa. After Reclusa's defeat, Mario, Luigi, Connie and Cozette escape the collapsing Soli-Tree and return to Shipshape Island.

During the credits, after Concordia is restored, Cozette is seen teaching a group of children on Twistee Island.
