Gobblick[2] is a boss from Mario & Luigi: Brothership. It is a massive pitcher plant with two vine-like tentacles for limbs extending from its body; upon becoming furious, the monster's lower body gets a red tint. A stronger variant of it can be fought later in the game, empowered by the toxic substance Glohm.[3] Its name is a portmanteau of "gobble" and "lick." One of its primary attacks involves spewing Capnaps, Spikelies, and coins. It can also use its tentacles to constrict Mario and Luigi. During this attack, the Mario Bros. can counter the tentacles by using their Hammer attacks. Likewise, if the Bros. see updrafts coming from three fans in another battlefield, Luigi can use Luigi Logic to grab Gobblick's tongue and throw it into the updrafts, stunning it.
