Goronto[1] are enemies in Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins They are a variety of ant with shovels and miner hats. Goronto are encountered in the Macro Zone's first stage. It attacks by digging up rocks and rolling them at Mario. Goronto's attacks are very similar to the Diggin' Chucks from Super Mario World. Goronto can be defeated from either being jumped on or from a fireball.

黄色いヘルメットをかぶってシャベルを持ったアリさん。アントット(P39)一族1の働き者で、岩をどんどん掘り進んでいく。でも踏むだけで倒せるのだ。[2]

A hard worker who digs more and more holes.

This ant wears a yellow helmet and holds a shovel. He is a hard worker of the ant (p. 39) clan and digs his way through the rocks. But they can be knocked down just by stepping on them.
