Tatenoko[1] is an obstacle in Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. These saw-like objects are encountered in the first stage of the Mario Zone only. Their attack pattern consists of moving around on a set path horizontally, harming Mario on contact. A Tatenoko can be defeated from a Koopa Shell.
