Template:MKTTour The Los Angeles Tour is the sixty-third tour of Mario Kart Tour, which began on February 9, 2022 and ends on February 22, 2022. It is the ninth tour to have the same title as a previous tour, the fourth city tour to do so after the September 2021 Sydney Tour, and the second instance of three tours sharing the same name, the first being the Halloween Tours. True to its name, it introduces a new layout of the Los Angeles Laps course named Los Angeles Laps 2, while also marking the Mario Kart series debut of Chargin' Chuck, which may be a possible reference to the tour running through the Super Bowl LVI. In addition, variants of Mario and Luigi wearing their attire from NES Open Tournament Golf were also introduced as new drivers.

This tour will continue the Winter Celebration event that began during the previous tour, the Wario vs. Waluigi Tour. Aside from retaining the Winter Challenges, the tour will feature upgraded rewards in the Total Points Challenge. Additionally, players will be able to receive the new High-End Wild Slugger kart for placing high in the tour's ranked cups, making this the first tour to feature a High-End reward for placing high in the ranked cups. This is the first tour since the Ninja Tour to introduce three new drivers and the first since the 2020 Trick Tour to introduce three new High-End drivers.

This tour's Coin Rush course is RMX Choco Island 1, which was reused from the Jungle Tour and the 2021 Trick Tour. The menu's background features the Santa Monica Pier as the landmark for this tour, which was reused from the 2020 Los Angeles Tour.

Starting from this tour, the Springtime Crane is available in regular tour pipes, including the All-Clear Pipe.

Today's Challenge

Players' most recently used kart and glider are chosen, and favorite and favored ones have extra priority. Opponents are arranged randomly. On day 1 of this tour, players finish a race in Los Angeles Laps 3 in the Ice Bro Cup using Birdo (Black) for a free pipe launch. Starting from day 2, players have to finish a race in the earliest incomplete course that is not in any of the ranked cups using the driver shown on the course's thumbnail every day to obtain the corresponding reward in the table below. Once all of the courses are completed, the courses are selected at random.
