Template:MKTTour The Jungle Tour is the eighteenth tour of Mario Kart Tour that began on May 20, 2020 and will end on June 2, 2020. Reflecting its theme around jungles and the Donkey Kong Country series, Dixie Kong makes her playable Mario Kart debut and Funky Kong returns after his only Mario Kart playable appearance in Mario Kart Wii, while also adding the Rambi Rider from Mario Kart DS. This is the first tour that does not add any new tracks or any new track variants.

Signature kart sets

In every cup, the driver which the cup is themed about is raised a tier on each track, making them a three- or two-item driver on that course. Up until the Ice Tour, a kart and a glider were also given a bonus for each race in the cup.

Trivia

  • As of the Jungle Tour, all playable characters from Mario Kart Wii, except for the Miis, are present in Mario Kart Tour.
  • Despite being themed after Dino Dino Jungle, DK Pass appears as the tour's signature track.
  • The Jungle Tour is the third tour to reuse bonus challenges from a previous tour, namely reusing the Dry Bones Cup's bonus challenge from the New York Tour for this tour's Shy Guy Cup, while also reusing the Wendy Cup's bonus challenge from the Tokyo Tour for this tour's Waluigi Cup, as well as the Dry Bowser Cup and Luigi Cup's bonus challenges from the Paris Tour for this tour's Baby Mario Cup and Pauline Cup. It shares this distinction with the Trick Tour and the Flower Tour.
