The tours in Mario Kart Tour are the main events of the game, each one consisting of 16 cups and lasting for two weeks. To progress through a tour, players collect Grand Stars by achieving points in the cups. Interspersed between the cups are Tour Gifts that reward the player with various items. For the duration of a tour, the player can complete two sets of challenges (three if the player has a Gold Pass) to earn extra Grand Stars, although the second set is not available until the second week. The ninth and tenth cups of each tour are not available until the second day, the eleventh and twelfth not until the fourth day, the thirteenth and fourteenth not until the sixth day, and the fifteenth and sixteenth not until the second week; although players can unlock them faster by using quick tickets.
The following is a list of tours in the game. The sequence of numbers below each course represents the number of points required (or in the case of racing challenges, the engines classes in which the player must gain 1st place) to earn Grand Stars. (For example, achieving exactly or over the fourth amount in the sequence but under the fifth amount grants the player four Grand Stars.) Normal Tour Gifts are marked in silver, while Gold Pass-exclusive Tour Gifts are marked in gold, which Gold Pass members receive along with the normal Tour Gifts.
