This is a Crystal Bit. Basically, Crystal Bits are just pieces of the Crystal King. You can drop 'em with ease. Their Max HP is 1 and they're only dangerous when the Crystal King spews 'em out. Their defense power is 0. These guys are pretty weak. They'll keep coming, though, until you've finally beaten the Crystal King.

Crystal Bits are pieces of the Crystal King, a boss in Paper Mario. There are three aesthetic variants of Crystal Bits including a cube, an octahedron, and a sphere. They assist him in the Crystal King's battle with Mario. Due to having lower HP than any other enemy in the game, along with Tuff Puffs and Petit Piranhas, they can be destroyed quickly with a multi-hitting attack, such as the multibounce, Lakilester's Spiny Surge, or Thunder Rage. Crystal King can summon them several times throughout battle, using up a turn, although he will stop summoning them once his HP drop below 35.
The Crystal Bits both resemble and serve a similar purpose as the Fire Crystal, Water Crystal, Earth Crystal, and Wind Crystal do to Culex in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars.
