Template:Diff Template:Form-infobox White Tanooki Mario is a white lucent version of Tanooki Mario or Luigi in Super Mario 3D Land.

When Mario or Luigi loses five lives in a level, an Assist Block containing an Invincibility Leaf will appear. The block emits a tone to alert him of its presence. If Mario or Luigi takes the Invincibility Leaf, he will become White Tanooki Mario or Luigi, clad in a white and golden version of the Tanooki Suit. In this form, Mario or Luigi is permanently invincible until he clears the level. After that, he reverts to the regular Tanooki Mario or Luigi. Unlike in his invincible form, Mario or Luigi cannot earn lives by defeating enemies. The player cannot obtain this form in levels he has already beaten or in any of the special worlds. However, Luigi can still get this powerup by skipping a normal level the going to the next one, and beating world Special 1.
