Universal Marionette is one of Mona's microgames in WarioWare: Smooth Moves and returns in WarioWare Gold as one of the Twist League's Intro Games. The background in both versions is a reference to Leonardo da Vinci's drawing "Vitruvian Man".

Gameplay

The player must deflect the watermelons aiming at the marionette's head with the marionette's limbs. The player loses if the watermelon hits the marionette's head.

WarioWare: Smooth Moves

If the player loses, the watermelon that hit the marionette knocks the marionette's head off and replaces it.

  • 1st level difficulty: The player must deflect 2 watermelons.
  • 2nd level difficulty: The player must deflect 4 watermelons.
  • 3rd level difficulty: The player must deflect 6 watermelons.

WarioWare Gold

The marionette is designed after Wario. If lost, the marionette tilts to the side and spins out.

  • 1st level difficulty: The player must deflect 2 watermelons.
  • 2nd level difficulty: The player must deflect 3 watermelons.
  • 3rd level difficulty: The player must either deflect 4 watermelons, or adjust the marionette to fit in a storage case.
