The Sweet Sweet Galaxy, originally known as the Cookie Factory Galaxy[1], is an unlockable galaxy in Super Mario Galaxy. It appears after the Hungry Luma next to the Terrace has been fed 400 Star Bits. It features moving platforms with cookie-cutter-shaped holes in them and appears to be made up primarily of titanic sweets and desserts. It takes place in the atmosphere of a planet and has electric rails to pose as threats. This galaxy is one of very few galaxies that has no enemies at all. There are many inaccessible planets in this galaxy, and if the player uses cheat codes and flies to the sweets like the cakes and ice cream, they will discover the objects are not solid. The music for the galaxy is an arrangement of the athletic theme from Super Mario Bros. 3. The music is also reused as the athletic theme in Super Mario 3D Land.
Planets/Areas
Hole Belt Conveyer Planet
The Hole Belt Conveyer Planet[2] is a large planet that takes up a majority of the galaxy. Mario starts off on a what appears to be a sweet cube. There are platforms ahead moving toward him with holes in them of different sizes and shapes, mostly circles and triangles. They appear to be flavored depending on the colors, such as chocolate, strawberry, lemon, and blueberry. There are two electric fences on the way Mario must avoid, as well as a few coins along the way he can collect. At the end is a turn over a large block of mint chocolate chip. The screen then turns to reveal another moving platform section with horizontally moving platforms with shapes such as stars and arrows. In this section, there are also Star Bits stuck to the walls that are up for grabs. At the end of this section, Mario encounters two members of the Toad Brigade who encourage him to keep going.
The next section is made up of one large, shifting chocolate disk with geometric holes such as moons, squares, and pentagons. There is a 1-Up Mushroom halfway through the tunnel Mario can easily collect. There are then a few more platforms Mario must traverse, with electric fences in the middle and rings of Star Bits floating nearby. These platforms lead to a large, three-layer cake. The bottom row is lemon, the middle row is mint chocolate chip with Star Bit sprinkles, and the top layer is strawberry with raspberries. The Power Star is right in the center. Additionally, a Starshroom can be seen in the background.
Hole Belt Conveyer Parts
The Hole Belt Conveyer Parts[3] are the moving, cookie cutter platforms that Mario must traverse through. They appear to be in different flavors depending on their colors, with holes of geometric shapes such as hearts, moons, circles, triangles, and more.
Cake
A large, three-layer cake with the Power Star on top serves as the end of the Galaxy. Yellow Toad can be found sleeping on the cake's middle layer, along with a ring of Star Bits. A Starshroom is seen in the background. The cake is divided into layers of lemon, chocolate mint, and strawberry.

Trivia
- This galaxy is intended as a flashback to the mechanics of past Mario games to remind long-term fans that the unorthodox Super Mario Galaxy is still a part of the series.[4]
- This galaxy can be accessed without using the pink Launch Star left behind by the Hungry Luma via a glitch: after talking to the Hungry Luma to make the Launch Star appear, Flying Mario can be used to access the portal instead.
