Queen Bee is the queen of all the bees in the universe. She is an extremely large bee and always speaks using nosism. She appears in Super Mario Galaxy where she rules the bees of the Honeyhive Galaxy.

Appearance

Queen Bee is a very large bee, she is over 10 times the size of a regular bee and has a gigantic stinger poking out of the very bottom of her body. On her back she has extremely large wings which reverberate back and forth so quickly they are almost invisible. She has two feet with high heeled shoes on them sticking out of the bottom of her body right above her stinger and two arms with white gloves protruding from her sides. There is always a cape draped over her neck and part of her back which is fastened by a pink jewel right in the middle of her chest. On her head, she wears a brown bonnet which covers her whole head except for her eyes, mouth and nose (the latter of which is purple). On top of her head, she wears a crown bejeweled with blue gems all around.

Super Mario Galaxy

Queen Bee appears in Super Mario Galaxy as a non-playable character who helps Mario out in his missions through the Honeyhive Galaxy. She first appears in the level Bee Mario Takes Flight where she is plagued with a terrible itchiness and requires Mario's help to stop it. Mario is sent to her by worker bees who say that all new bees must visit the queen. When Mario gets to Queen Bee, she will ask him to stop this terrible itchiness which is in reality, caused by five Star Pieces which have lodged in the hair all over her. Bee Mario must climb Queen Bee's back and collect the five star pieces to gain a Launch Star which will send him to the final planet and his Power Star. The second time Mario meets her is in the level The Big Bad Bugaboom where she asks Mario for his help when he reaches the end of the tunnel with three mandibugs in it. She tells him that the neighbors are giving them trouble again and asks him to stop them, giving him a Launch Star to help him on his way. At the end of the game, Queen Bee makes a cameo appearance celebrating Mario's victory over Bowser with Dino Piranha and a bunch of Goombas and Toads.

Super Mario Galaxy 2

She appears in Super Mario Galaxy 2 with the same role of Mario or Luigi having to climb on her.
