Satellites[1][2] are obstacles in Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. These spinning spiked objects appear in the final stage of the Mario Zone only. Satellites are entirely invincible and spin around spheres similarly to a Roto-Disc or its Super Mario Land counterpart (with Perfect Ban Mario Character Daijiten even suggesting that the satellites might be a mechanical version of the former),[3] though they are a bit slower.
