Template:Species-infobox Ice Bats[1] are a cyan, icy variant of bat that appear in Super Mario Galaxy, in the Freezeflame Galaxy. They are a species of Swoops and they act similarly to them, though if they hit Mario, they freeze him. Ice Bats cannot defeated in any way, only freezing Mario on contact. When they freeze Mario, they taunt or laugh at him when he gets frostbitten. However, they can be stunned with a Spin attack. They can be defeated only with a Fire Flower.
