A Tamanoripū (Japanese: タマノリプー) is a bear-like enemy in the Mario Zone of Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. Tamanoripūs are usually found riding atop circus balls. They can use these circus balls to traverse spiky and dangerous floors. Mario can jump or throw a fireball to defeat at this enemy and take its ball. Mario can use this ball to safely cross spiked floors and get to previously unreachable areas in the Mario Zone. Tamanoripūs look like teddy bears and are only found in the second level of the Mario Zone.
