DK's Konga Line
Minigame
Appears in Super Mario Party Jamboree
Type Showdown minigame

DK's Konga Line is a Showdown minigame in Super Mario Party Jamboree. It is centered around Donkey Kong and has four players trying to match his bongo rhythm. Like other Showdown minigames, this minigame cannot be played in the Mario Party mode if Donkey Kong is an active player character, though he can still be used in this minigame in Minigame Bay modes.

Introduction

The four players walk onto the stage to their respective pair of bongos, before Donkey Kong drops down from the trees and bangs his bongos, indicating the start of the minigame.

Gameplay

The players each have a circle that Donkey Kong's bongo beats will appear in, and they then must press either L Button, R Button, or both at the right time. They receive two points for a perfect match, one point if they are too early or too late, and no points if they miss the beat. A perfect score is 150 points.

In the Mario Party mode, the player who encountered Donkey Kong on the board first to trigger the minigame has their rhythm circle increased in size as an advantage.

The player with the most points at the end wins the minigame and receives Donkey Kong as a Jamboree Buddy.

Controls

  • L Button (or Single Joy-Con Left Button) – Play left bongo
  • R Button (or Single Joy-Con Right Button) – Play right bongo
