Time 30-40 minutes

Star-Crossed Skyway is one of the seven boards in Mario Party: Island Tour. The goal of this board is to collect Mini Stars and try not to collect Mini Ztars. This is similar to Mario Party 9, as the goal may imply. The player needs to get the most Mini Stars to win the board. Like Mario Party 9, the player with the most Mini Stars wins. Players can get Mini Stars by winning minigames or reaching the Star Stages.

Description

  • American English: You need the most Mini Stars to win this game-no matter how fast you finish!
  • British English: Collect Mini Stars above the clouds! Timing is everything if you want to get ahead!

Star Stages

Players must get to the Star Stages as fast as possible. If all players except for one have already reached the current Star Stage, the remaining player will be carried to the current Star Stage by a Lakitu. After that, the next turn will still be the remaining player's turn. The first star stage will have 4 sets of Mini Stars. The Second Star stage will have 3 sets of Mini Stars, and 1 set of Mini Ztars. The third Star Stage will have 3 sets of Mini Ztars and 1 set of Mini Stars. Note that the third star stage will only have 1 set of Mini Stars, so the players should get to the third Star Stage last. The final star stage will have 3 sets of Mini Stars and 1 set of Mini Ztars much like the 2nd star stage, this time having 7 Mini Ztars in the Mini Ztars set.

Trivia

  • At the end of the board, when the total amount of Mini Stars are tallied up for each player, if a player has a negative score, Mini Ztars are taken away from the player instead of granting Mini Stars.
