Mecha Sonic,[1] is a crossover character from the Sonic the Hedgehog series. He is a robot replica of Sonic, just like Metal Sonic. Mecha Sonic appear briefly in the Super Mario franchise within the game Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 as a boss in the Tokyo Sky Flight minigame found in the Story Mode and the Game Room. His boss fight is very similar to his original one from Sonic the Hedgehog 2, which has Mecha Sonic spinning around in a ball form, then shooting out spikes.
