Metal Takebō are metallic Gamboos that come in silver and gold varieties that were introduced in Super Mario Bros. Wonder. They move in the same way as a lone Gamboo, moving forwards slowly. They also can be stomped, and can be picked up and thrown, eventually losing momentum and stopping. They are fireproof, and if the come into contact with electricity, they will become electrified, preventing them from being stomped. The silver versions, like purple Gamboos, turn around when they reach the edge of a platform; in contrast, the golden versions walk off of the ledge similar to the green Gamboo. They first appear in Missile Meg Mayhem, making further appearances in High-Voltage Gauntlet, Evade the Seeker Bullet Bills!, and KnuckleFest Bowser's Blazing Beats.
