A Spear Shy Guy is a pink Spear Guy that appears in Mario vs. Donkey Kong. It is usually sleeping on a platform. Whenever Mario jumps on the same platform, the Spear Shy Guy awakens and quickly runs toward Mario. However, if a Mini-Mario jumps onto the platform, the Spear Shy Guy will not be awoken.
