Brickmen are enemies in Mario vs. Donkey Kong. They are a pair of eyes peeking out from within a pile of bricks, as well as a pair of eyebrows in the remake. A Brickman attacks by dropping three bricks at once. The bricks can be countered by having Mario perform a Handstand Walk so that the falling bricks go off of him harmlessly. Brickmen are undefeatable, added the fact that they are never in accessible areas. They are encountered in Mario Toy Company, Slippery Summit, Twilight City, Mario Toy Factory, and Twilight City Plus.
The bricks that Brickmen release are known in Japanese as「レンガブロック」(Renga Burokku, Brick Block),[1][2] despite looking and acting differently from the Brick Blocks in the Super Mario series.
