The Anniversary Tour is the hundred-and-fifth tour of Mario Kart Tour, which began on September 20, 2023 and will end on October 3, 2023. The tour celebrates the game's fourth anniversary; like the previous Anniversary Tour, it does not include its respective year in its name. This is the final tour for Mario Kart Tour to introduce new content to the game; all tours following it recycle content from previous tours, starting with the Battle Tour beginning on October 4, 2023. It was announced in an in-game news post titled "About Upcoming Scheduled Tours" on September 11, 2023, much earlier than usual for tours.

The tour introduces the third routes for Athens Dash, Rome Avanti, and Madrid Drive, as well as the R/T variants for Berlin Byways 3 and Sydney Sprint 3. In addition to the new courses, Gold Mario debuts as a fully playable character after having appeared exclusively in Coin Rush since the beginning of the game, and the Gold Mario Cup appears alongside Gold Mario's fully playable debut as the final new cup for the game. The final wave of Mii Racing Suits, Wave 41, which only consists of the Koopa Clown Mii Racing Suit, was also revealed.

The tour's course selection consists of the third routes of every city course in the game (with the exception of Los Angeles Laps, which uses Los Angeles Laps 2, the third route of that course to be added to the game), as well as both New York Minute B and Paris Promenade B, making this the first tour since the previous Anniversary Tour to consist entirely of new courses and the first tour overall since Battle Mode's introduction to not feature a classic battle course.

This is the first tour to give favorite courses to the Streamliner, the Barrel Hanafuda, the Jumping Mario Hanafuda, the Pink Gold Paper Glider, the Gold Glider, the P-Wing, the Gold Pipe Frame, Nabbit, the Wild Wing, the Circuit Special, the Queen Bee, the Silver Bullet Blaster, the Luma Parafoil, Ice Mario, and the Offroader since the Vancouver Tour, Peach Tour, 2020 Winter Tour, 2021 Cat Tour, Peach vs. Daisy Tour, 2021 Mario Tour, 2021 Ninja Tour, 2022 Battle Tour, 2022 Halloween Tour, 2022 Autumn Tour, 2022 Holiday Tour, and 2023 New Year's Tour, respectively.

This tour's Coin Rush course is Tokyo Blur 3, which was reused from the Summer Festival Tour. The menu's background features the Parthenon and the Athena statue as the landmark for this tour, which was reused from the Spring Tour.

This is the last tour to feature the fourteenth set of Expert Challenges, which first appeared in the Night Tour.

Today's Challenge

Players' most recently used kart and glider are chosen, and favorite and favored ones have extra priority. Opponents are arranged randomly. On day 1 of this tour, players finish a race in London Loop 3T in the Mii Cup using the Koopa Clown Mii Racing Suit for a free pipe launch. Starting from day 2, players have to finish a race in the earliest incomplete course that is not in any of the ranked cups using the driver shown on the course's thumbnail every day to obtain the corresponding reward in the table below. Once all of the courses are completed, the courses are selected at random.
